Stages of baldness
Male pattern baldness involves several stages in which the condition moves forward according to the extent of hair loss. The stages of baldness can be summarized in four basic stages:
Stage 1
Men still have full hair, with little to no signs of baldness. Hair transplant can be performed easily and the client can develop hair with higher density.
Stage 2
Baldness is medium to high and the donor site has dense hair. Hair transplant is feasible and easy.
stage 3
Baldness is medium to high and the donor site is poor. This can be treated by performing a partial hair transplant or complete hair transplant through multiple sessions.
Stage 4
Baldness is severe and the donor site is very poor. Hair transplant is not recommended due to poor and unsatisfactory results.
